Currently at the pre-planning stage this proposal for twelve new-build houses in Oxfordshire will re-interpret the vernacular architecture of the area to create a modern new community within a conservation area. Ground source heat pumps combined with photovoltaic cells and an efficient site water strategy will ensure the scheme achieves a level five rating under the Code for Sustainable Homes. Wildflower meadows will denote the two new communal spaces on the site. The scheme will be a beacon for design excellence in contemporary housing design within a rural setting.
