This proposal for a High Performance Sports Network in the Pyrenees region of Catalunya, is conceived as an incremental method of regional development to complement the proposed train improvements in the area. Designed through an investigation of infrastructure, journey time and connectivity, the network would create a series of training centres for top athletes and visitors, subsequently creating jobs and re-vitalising the entire region. In order to demonstrate this 'bottom-up' method of regional planning a computer generated parametric model of the area was created to demonstrate how growth would occur in an organic fashion around specific nodes in the network.
