Based on a proposed publishing house located in a quarry near Buxton, a drawing machine was constructed to record the interaction of three characters and critical site elements. This project won the Antoine Predock Award in 1997, and has been published in The Bartlett Book of Ideas, Bartlett Books of Architecture in 2000, and Devices by CJ Lim in 2005.
